Mockingbird & Wire is ran by two teams - Publications and Editorial - both run completely by Texan youth. 

Apply today to gain hands-on experience in publishing, editing and design while building a platform for teen voices across Texas!

We are accepting submissions of poetry, prose, essays, fiction and photography from artists ages 13 to 19 year-round!

NOTE: Any submissions to Mockingbird & Wire will be considered to be featured in the annual anthology available in April and any interviews/public reading opportunities.
